Frequently Asked Questions
How do I qualify for CSF membership?
CSF acknowledges both academic excellence and community involvement in the application process— we typically require a minimum of 10 hours of service per semester and approximately a 3.0 GPA or higher (grade requirements are based off of a point system) to qualify for membership. Volunteer hour requirements have been waived in the most recent application periods due to COVID.
When do I apply for CSF?
CSF application drives occur twice a school year, once in the fall (late September or early October) and once in the spring (early-February). The fall application drive is based on hours and grades earned in the semester immediately previous (ex. Fall 2019-20 application is based off of Spring 2018-19 semester and Spring 2019-20 application is based off of Fall 2019-20 semester). Exact dates and deadlines are sent out through a schoolwide email by Mr. Raser, our advisor.
How do I know if my application has been approved?
Starting in the Fall 2020-21 application drive for grades earned in Spring 2019-20, we will be communicating with all accepted members upon approval. Please keep an eye out for an email to the email address you provide on your application! If you are looking to confirm your membership from a previous semester, please email us at calhighcsfclub@gmail.com.
How do I apply to be a CSF officer?
Applications for the 2022-23 board will be opening soon.
